Soup

This soup is a favorite among my family and friends. I first tried it in a break room from my friend, Caralee....and was hooked. You'll want to make this Mexican-inspired soup for dinner every night. The garnishes are what makes this dish even better. Don't skimp on those. Enjoy!

Servings: 6
Prep Time: 1.5 hours

INGREDIENTS
1 - 2 lbs.	pork tenderloin, diced
6 cups	water
6 tsp/cubes	chicken boullion
1 can	diced tomatoes
2 cans	15.5 oz each of white hominy
1 can	8 oz. green chiles, diced
1/2 Tbsp	chili powder
1 tsp	ground cumin
1/2 tsp	oregano
1/4 can	7 oz. chipotle peppers, finely diced (can also use 2 chipotle boullion cubes)
3 cloves	garlic, minced
1	onion, diced
1 Tbsp	olive oil
dash	cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS
1.	Using a large stock pot on high, saute pork, diced onions and minced garlic in olive oil until pork is cooked.

2.	Finely chop the chipotles. Add them with the water, bouillon, diced green chilis, diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil.

3.	Reduce heat, add hominy and spices. Simmer for one hour (minimum).

4.	Serve with any or all of the following garnishes: cilantro, cheese (cheddar or other), tortilla chips, avocado, sour cream, etc.

How can anyone take good ingredients ,and add those vile little blocks of salt and MSG?
