Wasatch Woman magazine announces the overall winner and honorees for the third-annual Wasatch Woman of the Year award. Rachel Coleman, founder of Signing Time, wife and mother of two and activist for the deaf community was selected from over 75 nominations as the overall winner. Coleman will grace the cover of the January/February 2009 issue of Wasatch Woman magazine.
Honorees were also selected in each of five categories: Motherhood, Community, Business, Perseverance and Up & Coming (for a woman aged 18 to 24). Award winners were selected for their exceptional contributions in those areas by an editorial advisory board.

These women will receive recognition at the Wasatch Woman of the Year event at the Little America hotel on Friday, January 30, and will be featured in the January/February 2009 issue of Wasatch Woman magazine alongside Rachel Coleman, Wasatch Woman of the Year award winner.
"These everyday women are an inspiration to all women of Utah," says Pamela Baumeister, editor and associate publisher of Wasatch Woman. "Our focus at Wasatch Woman is to honor them for their exceptional contributions."
The event to honor these women will be on Friday, January 30th from 11am to 1pm at the Little America hotel. Tickets for this event can be purchased on line by clicking here.
